York-Rio Resources Inc. is proud to announce that it has become a member of the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce. Established 26 years ago, the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce has helped build the city of Vaughan into one of Canada’s most prestigious business communities in Canada. The chamber helps its members create better business relationships and programs that help members expand their marketplace reach.
 
York-Rio contributed to the Vaughan Health Care Foundation in support of health care facilities and the long term health care goals of the entire community.
 
Hospice Vaughan is a non-profit organization geared toward the palliative care of terminally ill patients while at the same time providing emotional support for those having lost a loved one. York-Rio has contributed to this noteworthy organization in the hopes of providing solace to those in need.
 
Greenpeace Canada is an organization that works to protect the environment. Its goals are to protect biodiversity in all its forms, prevent pollution of the earth’s oceans, land, air and freshwater, end all nuclear threats, promote peace, global disarmament and non-violence. York-Rio, in support of these goals has contributed to this cause by way of a donation to this organization.
 
Among the York Regional Police Association’s responsibilities is to safeguard the community against violence and brutality. York-Rio views community safety as paramount and has therefore contributed to this organization.
 
This non-profit organization covers a broad range of services to the community from geriatric care to child services to domestic violence programs by ensuring that 30,000 people each year receive assistance. Given the multitude of avenues for donations, York-Rio is confident that its contribution will provide support to those in need.
