Victor York, President
Victor's primary focus has been people, finance and operations. He successfully provided strong and transparent financial stewardship within the private and public corporate sectors. Victor was educated at the University of Miami and the York University in Toronto . His professional accomplishments include Operations Director of Transamerica Commercial Corporation; Financial Accounting and Analysis for Consumers Gas; and 28 years with the Federal Government of Canada.
Victor is a Knight of Malta of the Sovereign Order of Saint John of Jerusalem ... knighted at the Queen's Park Legislature building April 17th, 1999 . The Order is responsible for many generous donations aimed at the children and elderly in the community. Victor is also a Master Mason with the Runnymede #619 Masonic Lodge; sits on the Board of Directors at the Runnymede Health Centre and continues to be a proud member of Greenpeace Canada .

Patricia Ungaro, V.P. Sales and Marketing
Patricia has over 30 years experience in sales and marketing in both the private and public sectors. Patricia is an "ideas" person who is driven by strategy and entrepreneurship. Her ability to "see around corners" keeps her constantly looking forward. In addition, her work and consultation within the business community has enabled her to understand and meet the needs of her role at York-Rio Resources Inc.

Denise MacDonald, V. P. Research and Development
Denise is a graduate of the University of San Diego. She has over 20 years of sales, marketing, and general management experience. She has worked in both the American and Canadian marketplace for firms such as Global Telecom, Equifax and Siemens.

Daniel Pasin, Geological Engineer
Daniel, a Brasilian geologist who is an expert in diamond and kimberlite studies has a Msc. in Regional and Economical geology, geological analysis and exploration and evaluation. He also has 8 years of experience in precious stone evaluation and has worked in both the Brazillian and Hungarian markets.
His extensive field work, professional experience and published works, set him apart from all others in the industry.
Daniel’s native language is Portuguese. He is fluent in English, and can understand written and spoken French, Italian, Spanish and Hungarian.
He is a member of the Brazilian Geological Society; American Association of Petroleum Geology; Speleological society of Rio de Janeiro (SPEC) and the Aeroclub aviation of Brazil.

Jorge Valente, Q.P. Geologist
Jorge has a degree in Mining Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico of the Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal. Jorge has more than 30 years of mining experience in Portugal , Angola and Brazil and was a Professor at the School of Mines at the Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, Brazil . He has presented many papers internationally on methods for the evaluation of alluvial diamond reserves. He is a member of the International "Who's Who" of Professionals; the Society of Mining Engineers of AIME; the International Geostatistical Association; and the Associação dos Engenheiros de Minas do Estado de Minas Gerais.
